Fritz Gelfert

Fritz Gelfert, on whose grave border his name is hardly legible and without life data, probably died on July 3, 1928 at the age of only 23 in Groß-Steinort – there is no other Fritz Gelfert in the church records. In fact, the name did not exist in the area at all. Gelfert is said to have been from Königsberg.^[1]
