Emma Wank

Emma Wank

* 11.11.1850

† 12.12.1933

Emma Amalie Meyer was what was called a “late girl”: at the time of her marriage, she was already 38 years old.

She was the daughter of Wilhelmine Weber, daughter of an instmann, and the chamberlain of the Lehndorffs Ferdinand Meyer. Ferdinands father, in turn, had been a farmer in Stawisken. Emma grew up with an older brother and a younger sister. Another sister died as a child.

On July 11, 1889, she married August Wank. She apparently died before her husband and lies in her own grave in the cemetery.[1]
